2 1/2 ounces brandy
3/4 ounce Lillet

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a thin quarter
wheel of lemon.

1 ounce tequila
3/4 ounce white crème de cacao
3/4 ounce cream

Shake hard with ice. Strain into a
cocktail glass. Garnish with a sprinkle
of nutmeg.
Gibson  
2 1/2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce dry vermouth

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a cocktail onion.
Gin-Gin Mule  
3/4 ounce lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
6-8 sprigs mint
1 1/2 ounce gin (Tanqueray)
1 ounce ginger beer (homemade)

Combine lime juice, simple syrup, and
mint in a mixing glass and muddle well.
Add the gin, ginger beer, and ice, then
shake well. Strain into an ice filled
highball glass. Garnish with mint and
serve with straws

3/4 ounce gin
3/4 ounce calvados (apple brandy)
3/4 ounce apricot brandy

1/2 ounce orange juice
1 Tablespoon cream

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail

1/2 teaspoon Pernod (or Absinthe
Substitute)
3 dashes peach bitters
3 ounces brandy

Coat a chilled old fashioned glass with
Pernod, then add the peach bitters,

1/2 ounce Benedictine

Harrington  
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1/4 ounce Cointreau
1/8 ounce Chartreuse

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Twist an orange zest over the
drink and then float zest in drink.
Highland Cocktail  
1 1/2 ounce scotch whiskey
1 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1 dash orange bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Hoskins  
2 ounces gin (Plymouth)
3/4 ounce Torani Amer
1/2 ounce maraschino
1/4 ounce Cointreau
1 dash orange bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Fame an orange peel over the
drink and garnish with the peel.
Income Tax  
1 1/4 ounce gin
3/4 ounce orange juice
1/4 ounce dry vermouth
1/4 ounce sweet vermouth
1 dash Angostura bitters

Shake with ice. Strain into cocktail
glass.
Irish Coffee  
1 ounce Irish whiskey
1 teaspoon sugar
4 ounces hot coffee
Dapple of heavy cream

Pre-heat coffee glass with hot water,
then empty. Add sugar and coffee to
glass; stir or muddle to melt sugar. Add
whiskey, and float the whipped cream
of honey-like consistency on top of
drink. Serve without a straw or stirrer.
Jamaican Firefly  
3/4 ounce limejuice
1 ounce simple syrup
1 1/2 ounce Goslings dark rum
2 ounces ginger beer

Shake with ice, and strain into a
highball glass. Garnish with a lime
wheel and piece of candied ginger

Dash of Bitters

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail

Note: If you don't have Falernum, you
"can" substitute Grenadine, although it
isn't quite the same thing.
Jupiter  
2 ounces Gin
1 ounce Dry Vermouth
1 teaspoon Orange Juice
1 teaspoon Parfait Amour

Be extremly careful with the
measurement of the Parfait Amour.
Too muich will ruin this drink. Shake
with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Kamikaze  
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1 ounce triple sec
1 ounce lime juice

Stir all the ingredients with ice. Strain
into a chillled tumbler filled with ice.
Garnish with a lime twist .
Kangaroo  
1 1/2 ounces Vodka
1/2 ounce dry Vermouth

Stir with ice. Strain into a chillled
cocktial glass. Garnish with a lemon
zest.
Kir Royale  
5 ounces champagne
1/4 ounce creme de cassis

Fill flute with champagne and add then
add the Creme de Cassis. Garnish with
a lemon twist.
Last Word  
1/2 ounce gin
1/2 ounce maraschino
1/2 ounce Chartreuse
1/2 ounce lime juice

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass.
Leap Year  
2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth

Lemon Drop  
1 1/2 ounces citron vodka
3/4 ounce lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar

Shake with ice. Strain into a frosted
cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon

Variation: Add 1/4 ounce Cointreau
and use only 1/2 teaspoon of sugar.
Long Island Ice Tea  
1/2 ounce Vodka
1/2 ounce Gin
1/2 ounce White Rum
1/2 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce Lemon Juice
Top with Cola

Build all ingredients in an ice tea glass,
then top with cola and garnish with a
lemon wedge.
Mai Tai  
1 ounce light rum
1 ounce gold rum
1/2 ounce orange curaçao
1/2 ounce Orgeat (Almond Syrup)
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce dark rum

Shake all but the dark rum with ice.
Strain into old fashioned glass. Top
with the dark rum. Garnish with a
maraschino cherry.
Manhattan  
2 ounces rye or bourbon whiskey
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1 dash of Angostura bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass.  
You can also use bourbon instead of
rye.  
Margarita  
2 ounces tequila
1 1/3 ounce Cointreau
2/3 ounce lime juice

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Optional: You can prepare the
cocktail glasss by miostening the rim
with lime juice, and then dipping it into
coarse salt.
Martini  
2 1/2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce dry vermouth

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with either a lemon zest
or a green olive.  
The Gin to Vermouth ratio listed here
is 5 to 1. An "extra-dry" martini can
take this to such an extreme as to
have no vermouth at all.
Milk Punch  
4 ounces bourbon whiskey
4 ounces milk
1/2 teaspoon dark rum
1 tablespoon simple syrup
Nutmeg

Shake with ice. Strain into a chilled
10-ounce highball glass. Dust with
nutmeg.
Mimosa  
6/10 Chilled Champagne
4/10 Orange juice

Pour orange juice into a champagne
flute, then add champagne.
Mint Julep  
4 ounces bourbon whiskey
4 to 6 sprigs of mint
2 sugar cubes

Put Bourbon, Mint, and Sugar into the
bottom of a cocktail shaker. Muddle to
dissolve sugar and blend mint leaves.
Let stand for a bit to help release the
mint flavor. Add ice, and shake well to
chill, then strain into a glass filled with
shaved ice.
Monkey Gland  
2 ounces Gin
1 ounce Orange Juice
1/4 ounce Grenadine
1 dash Pernod

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with an Orange Twist.
Morning Cocktail  
3/4 ounce brandy
3/4 ounce dry vermouth
2 dashes orange curaçao
2 dashes maraschino liqueur
2 dashes orange bitters
2 dashes Pernod

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Serve with Maraschino Cherry
and twist lemon peel over the drink.
Monte Carlo  
2 ounces rye whiskey
1/2 ounce Benedictine
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
