Mother-In-Law  
2 1/2 ounces Bourbon
1 teaspoon Cointreau
1 teaspoon Maraschino
1 teaspoon simple syrup
2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 dashes Amer Picon

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a cherry.
Nicky Finn  
1 ounces brandy
1 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce lemon juice
Dash Pernod

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a Maraschino
Cherry or a lemon zest.
Old Fashioned  
1/2 orange slice
1 cube sugar
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 ounces rye or bourbon whiskey

Muddle orange, sugar, bitters together
until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Fill
glass with ice, then add the whiskey.
Garnish with a marachino cherry, and
perhaps an additional orange slice.
Serve with a swizzle stick and/or straw.
Obituary Cocktail  
2 ounces gin
1/4 ounce dry vermouth
1/4 ounce pastis

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Palm Beach Special  
2 ounces Gin
1/2 ounce Sweet Vermouth
1/2 ounce Grapefruit Juice

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass.  
Park Avenue  
3 ounces gin
1 ounce pineapple juice
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1/2 ounce orange curaçao

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass.
Pink Gin  
1 1/2 ounces gin
3 or 4 dashes Angostura bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass.  
Another way to make this is to swirl a
splash of bitters in a cocktail glass.
Shake, or flick, the bitters out and pour
the gin into the glass. You can also
add water to taste or serve on the
rocks.
Pink Lady  
1 1/2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce Applejack
3/4 ounce lemon juice
splash grenadine
1 egg white

Shake with ice. Strain into wine glass.
Planters Punch  
1 1/2 ounces white rum
3/4 ounce lemon juice
Dash orange juice

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a squeeze of
lemon.  
Pusser's Painkiller  
2 ounces Pusser's rum (95 proof)
4 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice
1 ounce orange juice
1 ounce coconut cream

Shake with ice. Strain into an ice filled
Tiki mug. Garnish with ground nutmeg,
cinnamon, pineapple stick, and orange
wheel.  
Ramos Gin Fizz  
1 1/2 ounces Dry Gin
1/2 ounce Lemon Juice
1/2 ounce Lime Juice
2 Tbs. Cream
1 Egg White (fresh)
1/4 ounce Seltzer Water
1 Tbs. Powdered Sugar
3 to 4 dashes Orange Flower Water

Shake all ingredients -well- with ice for
at least one minute (or in a blender).
This should result in a fairly foamy
consistancy. Strain into a wine glass
and top with club soda.
Red Snapper  
2 ounces gin
4 ounces tomato juice
1/2 ounce lemon juice
Pinch of salt and pepper
2 to 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 to 3 drops Tabasco sauce
Celery stalk

Stir with ice in a chilled highball or
delmonico glass. Stir in Worcestershire
and salt and pepper. Garnish with a
celery stalk and a lemon wedge.  
Renaissance  
2 ounces brandy
1 1/3 ounce sweet vermouth
1/3 ounce lemoncello
2 dashes peach bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Rob Roy  
1 1/2 ounces Scotch Whiskey
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1 dash orange bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

Bitters: Orange bitters was an original
ingredient for this drink, but with this
often being difficult to find Angostura
bitters can be used instead.
Rosita  
1 1/2 ounce Tequila
1/2 ounce Sweet Vermouth
1/2 ounce Dry Vermouth
1/2 ounce Campari
1 dash bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into an ice filled Old
Fashioned glass. Garnish with lemon
twist.
Rusty Nail  
1 1/2 ounces scotch whiskey
1/2 ounce Drambuie

Stir with ice. Strain into a tumbler filled
with ice.
Saratoga  
3/4 ounce brandy
3/4 ounce rye whiskey
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into cocktail glass.
Garnish with a slice of lemon.
Satan's Whiskers  
3/4 ounce gin
3/4 ounce dry vermouth
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
1/2 ounce orange juice
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
1 dash orange bitters

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass.  
Using "Orange Curaçao" instead of
Grand Marnier turns this into a "curled"
version.
Sidecar  
2 ounces Brandy (cognac)
1 ounce Cointreau
1/2 ounce lemon juice

Shake with ice. Strain into cocktail
glass.
Singapore Sling  
1 1/2 ounce gin
1/2 ounce Cherry Heering brandy
1/4 ounce Cointreau
1/4 ounce Benedictine
4 ounces pineapple juice
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/3 ounce grenadine
dash bitters

Shake with ice. Strain into an ice filled
collins glass. Garnish with cherry and
slice of pineapple.
Stinger  
1 ounce brandy
1/4 ounce white crème de menthe

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with fresh sprigs of
mint, and serve with a glass of ice
water.  
At christmas time this can be a festive
drink made with green crème de
menthe and garnished with a
marachino cherry.
Tango  
1/2 ounce rum
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
1/2 ounce Benedictine
1/2 ounce orange juice

Shake with ice. Strain into cocktail
glass Garnish with an orange twist.
Tailspin  
3/4 ounce Gin
3/4 ounce Sweet Vermouth
3/4 ounce Green Chartreuse
1 dash Campari

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with lemon twist and
cherry.
Trident  
1 ounce dry sherry
1 ounce Cynar
1 ounce aquavit
2 dashes peach bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Tom Collins  
2 ounces gin
1 ounce lemon juice
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
2 ounces soda water

Shake with ice. Strain into a Collins
glass filled with ice. Top with soda.
Garnish with a Maraschino Cherry and
orange wheel.  
Whiskey Sour  
2 ounces bourbon whiskey
2 ounces Lemon Juice
1 ounce Simple Syrup

Shake with ice. Strain into a tumbler
filled with ice.
Vesper  
3 ounces gin
1 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Lillet blonde

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a orange peel.
White Spider  
1 ounce Gin
1 ounce Lemon Juice
1/2 ounce Cointreau
1 tsp Simple Syrup

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass.  
White Russian  
2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Coffee liqueur (Kahlua)
1/2 oz. Cream

Pour Vodka and Coffee liqueur over
ice into an old fashioned glass. Float
cream on top.  
Note: This is the same thing as a Black
Russian, except with the addition of the
float of cream.
X.Y.Z.  
1 ounce Rum
1 ounce Cointreau
1/2 ounce Lemon Juice

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail
glass
Widow's Kiss  
2 ounces Calvados
1 ounce Yellow Chartreuse
1 ounce Benedictine
1 dash Angostura Bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Zombie  
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce pinapple juice
1 tsp brown sugar
1 ounce passion fruit syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 ounce gold rum
1 ounce 151 demerara rum
1 ounce white rum

Dissolve sugar in juice. Shake with ice
and pour into a collins glass. Garnish
with a mint sprig.
Zaza  
3/4 ounce Gin
1 1/2 ounce Dubonnet
1 dash Orange Bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Zummy  
3/4 ounce Benedictine
1/2 ounce Gin
1/4 ounce Dry Vermouth
1/4 ounce Sweet Vermouth
